Sculpture
This November and December brought sculpture to the forefront of Vadim Bora Gallery. With an exhibtion by Mountain Sculptors, (the 3rd annual exhibition), over 40 works were shown at the gallery throughout the two months. The sculpture show also served as backdrop for a reception for a delegation of Russian arts professionals from Vladikavkaz, visiting Asheville with Asheville Sister Cities and the Open World Program. The above work, by Vadim Bora, is titled "Wounded."

The April Fool Show
Vadim Bora Gallery presents the 6th annual April Fool Show, celebrating with a reception during the first Artwalk of the Asheville Downtown Galleries Association, Friday, April 6, 5-9 p.m.
Vadim Bora displays his wry sense of humor with this annual exhibition that introduces new pieces from his “Clowns” series, as well as other oil paintings and pen and ink posters addressing themes of folkloric absurdities, political satire, and social commentary, all created with Bora’s characteristic flourish that accents a deeper, often universal meaning.
