Seven Days, Seven Self-Portraits Virtual Exhibition

Master Sculptor and painter Vadim Bora was a true master of the portrait. "Faces You Might Know" was a significant exhibition in 2008 that featured over 200 portraits and self-portraits at Vadim Bora Gallery in Asheville, NC. Herewith, seven self portraits over seven days.

April 9 marks the birth day of Vadim Bora. On the Vadim Bora Facebook page, we have been posting Seven Days, Seven Self-Portaits. They will be repeated here beginning tomorrow. Today, we remember him in the light.

College Exhibition Concludes March 1

Blue Ridge Winter, Vadim Bora

"Silent Symphony - Land, Body, Water," a predominantly-landscape exhibition of works by Vadim Bora, will conclude at Mars Hill College's Weizenblatt Gallery March 1. The gallery is open Monday-Friday, 10-4. Besides landscapes, this soulful exhibition includes waterscapes,  allegorical works, sculpture, and a wall of select figurative works and self-portraits that serve to illustrate Bora's styles that transcend subject matter.

Welcome to the Weizenblatt Gallery at Mars Hill College, Wednesday, February 6. The Curator's Talk for Silent Symphony - Land, Body, Water | Selected Works by the Late Master, Vadim Bora, takes place at 2 p.m. The reception, rescheduled due to inclement weather from January 19, commences at 3 p.m. and runs until 6. The exhibition includes several groupings of landscapes, drawings, and sculptures.
