Last Day (In the Old House)Vadim Bora Gallery begins the season with a new look and expanded viewing areas in its second floor space overlooking Battery Park Avenue.
"Of Home," a just-completed series of oil-on-canvas works depicting the evocative images and spirit of "home," opens Friday, October 3, during the downtown Asheville Art Walk. Reflecting the ethnic heritage of Bora, the paintings capture the sense of home as being a state of mind, as much as a state of being...and of course, a tangible place in memory.
